Terms & Conditions

Please Read Before Using the Platform
These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and RupeeOTC. By accessing or using the Platform in any capacity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
§ 1
Definitions
- "Platform" — The website rupeeotc.com, its subdomains, applications, and related services.
- "User" / "you" — Any individual accessing or using the Platform.
- "Crypto Assets" — Supported virtual digital assets (USDT, USDC, and others listed) deposited by Users.
- "INR Settlement"— Disbursement of Indian Rupees to a User's bank account, UPI VPA, or credit card.
- "Gift Card" — A digital voucher code redeemable with a third-party merchant, delivered electronically.
- "Physical Product"— A tangible item ordered through the Platform and dispatched to the User's address.
- "Transaction" — The complete cycle of crypto deposit, internal conversion, and value disbursement.
- "Settlement Rate" — The INR-equivalent conversion rate applied at the time of internal swap execution.
- "RTO" — Return to Origin; when a physical product is returned to our fulfilment centre because delivery could not be completed.
§ 2
Eligibility
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
- Hold a valid Indian bank account and/or UPI-enabled account for INR settlement
- Not be using the Platform for any unlawful purpose
By using the Platform, you represent that all conditions above are met. RupeeOTC reserves the right to refuse service to any person at its sole discretion.
§ 3
Account Registration
- Registration requires only a valid email address and name. No identity documents are required.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. False information may result in account suspension and forfeiture of pending transactions.
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Notify us immediately at support@rupeeotc.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
- One account per person. Multiple accounts are not permitted.
§ 4
Transactions & Settlement Process
4.1 Depositing Crypto Assets
Users must send supported Crypto Assets to the wallet address assigned to their transaction. It is your sole responsibility to verify the wallet address, blockchain network, and token type before sending. Funds sent to incorrect addresses or on unsupported networks are permanently unrecoverable. RupeeOTC bears no liability for such losses.
4.2 Conversion & Rate Lock
The Settlement Rate is locked at the time of internal swap execution, after sufficient blockchain confirmations are received. RupeeOTC processes conversions through private reserves and does not route through public exchanges. Price movements between deposit initiation and rate lock are entirely at your risk.
4.3 Settlement Timelines
No Time Commitments
RupeeOTC does not commit to any specific settlement timeframe for any payment method. Settlements are processed as promptly as operationally possible, but the actual time taken depends on factors outside our control — including banking infrastructure, payment network availability, courier operations, and third-party processing systems. No claim may be raised against RupeeOTC solely on the basis of settlement duration.
Settlement timelines vary by method and are subject to the availability and processing cycles of the respective payment networks, banking partners, logistics providers, and gift card issuers. RupeeOTC will make reasonable efforts to communicate any known delays.
4.4 Fees & Deductions
All applicable platform fees and deductions are disclosed on the transaction confirmation screen before you finalise your order. By confirming, you consent to all fees displayed at that time.
4.5 Accuracy of Beneficiary Details
You are solely responsible for providing correct bank account numbers, IFSC codes, UPI VPAs, credit card details, and delivery addresses. RupeeOTC is not liable for failed or misdirected settlements resulting from incorrect information. Recovery of misdirected funds, where possible, may attract additional charges.
§ 5
Failed Transactions
If a transaction fails after your crypto assets have been deducted — due to bank rejection, UPI failure, credit card decline, gift card API failure, or any technical reason not attributable to incorrect information you provided — the full equivalent amount will be refunded to your Platform account.
Refund Assurance on Failed Transactions
Every unsuccessful transaction not caused by User error results in a 100% refund. No deductions, no penalties. Refund timelines are subject to the same conditions as settlements — no specific timeframe is guaranteed.

§ 6
Prohibited Conduct
- Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Depositing cryptocurrency of illegal or suspicious origin
- Providing false registration information or impersonating another person
- Artificially splitting transactions to circumvent any limits
- Operating multiple accounts or facilitating third-party transactions through your account
- Attempting to hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with Platform systems
- Using automated bots or scripts without written consent
- Fabricating disputes or false non-delivery claims to obtain refunds or replacement codes fraudulently
Violations may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of pending balances, and escalation to relevant authorities.
§ 7
Platform Availability
RupeeOTC does not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may take the Platform offline for maintenance, upgrades, or security incidents, with or without prior notice. RupeeOTC is not liable for any loss arising from Platform downtime.
§ 8
Limitation of Liability
- RupeeOTC's total liability for any claim arising from a specific transaction shall not exceed the INR equivalent value of that transaction.
- RupeeOTC is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive losses; loss of profits; market losses from crypto price volatility; or delays caused by third-party banking or logistics infrastructure.
- RupeeOTC does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice. Users are solely responsible for understanding the implications of their transactions.
§ 9
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RupeeOTC and its team from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, breach of these Terms, or harm caused to a third party through your actions.
§ 10
Amendments & Termination
RupeeOTC may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or Platform notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate any account or the Platform at any time for any reason.
