Document 03 — Digital Item Policy
Digital Item Policy
Effective Date: 01 June 2026 · Applies to: Gift Cards, Vouchers & All Electronically Delivered Items
No Returns. No Cancellations. No Refunds After Delivery.
Once a digital item has been delivered — displayed on-screen, sent by email, or sent by SMS — it cannot be returned, cancelled, exchanged, or refunded under any circumstances. By placing an order for a digital item, you explicitly accept this policy.
§ 1
What This Policy Covers
- Digital gift cards for all brands listed on the Platform
- Voucher codes and promo codes delivered electronically
- Any product or service access code delivered via email, SMS, or on-screen display
§ 2
How Delivery Works
Digital items are delivered through one or more of the following channels:
- Displayed directly on-screen upon transaction confirmation
- Sent to your registered email address
- Sent to your registered mobile number via SMS
Delivery is deemed complete the moment the code is displayed on-screen or transmitted to your registered contact — regardless of whether you have seen, opened, or used it.
Delivery Timelines
RupeeOTC does not commit to any specific timeframe for digital item delivery. Delivery occurs as soon as the transaction is confirmed and the code is issued by the third-party provider. RupeeOTC is not liable for delays attributable to third-party gift card issuers or API providers.
Your Responsibility
Ensure your registered email and mobile number are accurate and accessible before ordering. RupeeOTC is not liable for non-delivery caused by incorrect contact details, spam filters, full inboxes, or issues with your provider.
§ 3
No Refund Policy
- No refund — regardless of whether the code has been used
- No cancellation — once the transaction is confirmed, the order cannot be cancelled
- No exchange — delivered codes cannot be swapped for a different brand, denomination, or product
- No validity extension — RupeeOTC has no control over third-party gift card expiry dates
Why This Policy Exists
Digital codes are procured from third-party issuers at the time of your order and cannot be returned to them. Once delivered, their use or misuse cannot be verified with certainty. This protects all users and the integrity of the Platform.
§ 4
Exceptions — The Only Circumstances We Will Investigate
4.1 Invalid Code on First Use
If the delivered code returns a demonstrable error on the issuing merchant's platform upon your very first attempt, you must report it to support@rupeeotc.com within 24 hours of delivery with your Order ID and clear evidence (screenshot or screen recording). We will investigate and, at our discretion, issue a replacement or equivalent credit. Reports outside this window will not be accepted.
4.2 Confirmed Non-Delivery Due to Platform Error
If our systems confirm the code was not delivered due to a fault on RupeeOTC's end, we will re-deliver or provide an equivalent replacement.
4.3 Wrong Denomination Delivered
If the delivered denomination materially differs from what you ordered, we will correct it upon verification.
Outside these three scenarios, no resolution will be offered. All decisions by RupeeOTC on digital item disputes are final.
§ 5
Third-Party Merchant Terms
All gift cards are subject to the issuing merchant's own terms and conditions. RupeeOTC is the delivery facilitator only. Disputes about redemption, geographic restrictions, or changes in merchant programmes must be raised directly with the merchant. RupeeOTC is not responsible for a merchant's decision to restrict or discontinue their gift card programme.
§ 6
Prohibited Use
- Reselling gift cards or codes to third parties
- Submitting false non-delivery or invalid-code claims
- Exploiting technical errors to obtain digital items without payment
Fraudulent activity will result in immediate account termination.
